Let us continue our conversation about sin. I feel that this
is a very important topic
because of the weight, it carries in the world, but
particularity in religious beliefs.
Sin, is believed to be so powerful that it (supposedly) can
separate us from God.
Yes, I am aware of what is being taught about sin and its
consequences for hundreds, probably thousands of years. I plead with you to ask
yourself and your inner consciousness can anything separate you from God.
If God, source, your inner being is inside of you, then tell
me how you could be separate from that source, how can you be separate from
that which is you? Maybe you pinch
yourself off from your awareness of its power, or its presences at times,
however, you are never separate from it.
There will be those of you, who will fight for the right to
be separate because of your teachings around this subject, but I ask you to
search your soul, that part of you that knows the truth and you will know that
you and God are inseparable.
Sin simply put means missing the mark, it does not mean you
are damn; you are going to a burning hell!
I know that neither you nor I want to miss the mark, but
this is what the continued journey is all about. Life is about living and
striving to hit the mark. There will be many marks in your life, and yes, I
have read the scripture just as you have that said, “The wages of sin is death,
but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ”
This in my mind is not an either/ or, this is saying the
result of you missing your mark ( meaning your dreams, desires, wishes, wants,
goals, aspirations) is the death of them, but because life is an eternal gift
from God/universe/source, you will have more opportunities to hit the bulls eye,
hit the mark!
I am not trying to get you
not to believe in Sin if that is what you want to do, I am just trying to help
you realize that sin is not what you may have thought it to be.
Do we miss the mark
sometimes; the answer is yes. Is the mark still there for me to try again, I
believe that would be a yes also. So stop tripping and beating up on yourself
and others for missing the bullseye sometimes.
Read the Bible for enjoyment, but depend on your direct
connection to God to lead you and guide you.
You your inner GPS (God Pointing System) God, your inner
being will direct you.
