Life is not about always getting it right, it’s not always about the fight
Life's not working just to see Heaven’s light.
Life is about love, embracing your fellowman giving the a helping hand
Living and creating new plans, being your own number one fan
Life is about ups and downs, sometimes getting dirty from rolling on the ground.
Life is not about the lost and the found, sitting around not making a sound,
All because you think you are Heaven bound.
Heaven will take care of itself; right now you are living on God’s green earth,
Always talking about your rebirth, what is your life truly worth?
You did say God made Heaven and the Earth,
So live already this is your turf
But what about the streets paved with gold
I know what you’ve been told,
I realize Heaven is your goal, but listen I'm on a roll
So what about the now, your feet are on this solid ground,
So stop trying to escape, Heaven has its place,
I too have read about the pearly gates
But live your life before it’s too late
Because for now Heaven can wait
No, I didn’t make a mistake, that’s what I meant to say
We have no time to waste. keep up the pace
The days are getting shorter , like an immigrant heading for the border
Don’t take your freedom for granted
Our days are numbered on this beautiful planet
We don’t always have to understand it
Or command it, be happy because Real Life demands it
