Mother Always Worth It ?

We all have our own idea of what
We think a mother is supposed to be
Well today I want to set all mothers free

Free from the stereotype, free to be human
And not always right, free to be rude and not
Always polite, free to be a girlfriend and
Maybe not a wife, and free to live her life
Without guilt, and shame, without
Being called out of her name

After today being a mother will never be the same
Should a mother always have to fight?
Or be right, polite, and nice

We all have our own idea of what
We think a mother is supposed to be
Well today I want to set all mothers free

Free from the stereotype, free to be human
And not always right, free to be rude and not
Always polite, free to be a girlfriend and
Maybe not a wife, and free to live her life
Without guilt, and shame, without
Being called out of her name

After today being a mother will never be the same
Should a mother always have to fight?
Or be right, polite, and nice
Some mothers are saints and some are not
Some have a little and some have a lot
And that’s a fact, yet mothers often get
Attacked for not being perfect
So, I ask you it is really worth it

Yes, mothers play a huge part in society
But mothers come in an assorted variety
Mothers are white, light, tight, dark as the night
and sometimes a delight
Mothers are sometimes rude, and today
They may just have been a dude
Some mothers even come with lots attitude

So, it’s not safe to conclude that all mothers are
The same, mothers can have a Variety of names
Some mothers are even call plain Jane’s
some are even said be insane, inflamed, and inhumane
Some mothers are right, some are wrong
Some love to party and stay out all night long
Some fuss and some may sing songs

Who are we to say which one is right or wrong?
Some bear children, some may adopt
Some are weak, and some strong as a rock
Some carry the Bible and some carry a Glock

Some are lazy and some work around the clock
Some like gospel and some like pop
Some mothers think, some may wink
Some smell good and some may stink
Some may smoke and some may drink

The truth is it doesn’t matter what we think
Because a mother has a hard job
And with our judgement we often rob
Rob what this role really means
Not understanding what goes on
Behind the scenes, we’ll today
Let freedom ring and build all
Mother’s self -esteem, being a mother
Doesn’t mean being perfect
But being a mother is always worth it!

Message

Why does your message of life sounds like death to me?
What do you see that I don’t see, what about this message makes either of us free?
Qui Qui, is what you say, those are the words for those who obey
Dire Consequences follow those who stray
Away from what you call The Faith, but wait, this is what you say

You preach about a God of love, yet his characteristics resemble that of a Thug
He’s a pimp according to your message
If you don’t get it right, he’ll teach you a lesson
He’ll hold back the blessings unless you bow down and get to confessing
all of your sins, hey my sisters and brothers have you been born again

The preacher said that’s the only way you will win
You see God never changes so he won’t bend unless you make Jesus your friend
Then, once again you continue to defend your message
Stripping away the true essence of love
Instead you judge, push and you shove, claiming your message is from above

I listen to the TV evangelists, that can’t even make Angie’s list
Teaching and preaching scandalous, like a vandal they mishandle truth
Misusing the Bible as their proof, like a missing tooth they create a hole
Producing constant pain in the souls
Of innocent people, thinking God’s love will reach them
Like Donald Trump we must Impeach them

Get them out of office, doesn’t matter who cause this, we must pause this
Get off this message of doom and damnation, you don’t know the revelation
Your narrow-minded thoughts turn into manifestations not coruscation
Without hesitation you pretend to speak for God, when God is not at all involved
If we are all created in the image of God, case closed, you better quit your day job
Stop the words that continue to rob and never seem to solve anything
No angel, no wings

You are not God’s messenger, you’re not the owner of TESLA
So, use your energy elsewhere, stop advocating for hate
Teaching distrust and generating despair
Living life should be a constant love affair, this is truth so for you I dare
Dare you to preach real love the kind that’s goes far deeper than a hug
So please if your God Is a Thug, and confused about the meaning of Love

You can keep him for yourself
Because my God is goodness, grace, prosperity, and wealth
This makes me love my neighbor as I love myself

My God doesn’t create diseases and gets angry for any old reason
My God is a God of all seasons that’s what keeps me breathing and believing
Open to receiving, achieving, and upheaving positivity in this world
Life is more precious than diamonds, and rare as the Melo Melo pearl
So, go ahead and give this life a twirl
Give it a swirl and please enjoy being Human in this world!

COVID19

COVID19 has burst on the scene
The only show playing on the television screen
She’s mean and she’s bad
Like a young girl searching for her dad
She is upset and she is mad

She’s traveling up and down the coast
Uncovered no winter coat, hurting those we love the most
Causing symptoms, fever, cough, and sore throat
She’s wreaking havoc on our hope
Stay at home order ain’t no joke
Got Weed, Oops I don’t smoke

Knocking our vision out of scope
Loosening the knots in our rope
She has no respect of persons, damn! she so assertive
The longer she travels the symptoms seem to worsen
Even got so call Christians cursing

She seems to think like a boss, killing at any cost
Our elderly lives are being loss
Tossed away, we are bowing our heads to pray
Dismayed don’t know what to say
Loss for words every day, can’t coin the right verbs to say
Upserbed, reverbed, need to be heard

Life has become a chore
The little things in life we value more
Simple things we’ve come to adore even more
Appreciating life like never before
Like taking trips to the grocery store

Shopping at the local mall, or on the court shooting basketballs
Gratitude says it all!
Lounging around the house has become our vacations
Waiting, hands on our hips trying to exercise patients

Devastation lurks around every corner
Our friends and family have become professional mourners
Too many calls to the Coroner please help bury this Corona Virus
Singing the words of Miley Cyrus
Wrecking ball, hurry before it mashes us all

Too many dead, shaking our heads
Dread fills our soul; tears constantly roll
The death toll continues to grow

Hope stalled, like a long distant call
We’ve been placed on hold
Normality has become the ultimate goal
The end nobody really knows
We all trust what we’ve been told
Story lines seem to implode
Explode, never been down this Old Town Road

Gotta stroll, not run, can’t kill this thing
Not even with a gun
Walking, that’s the best we can do
Flip flops can’t wear tennis shoes
Being smart gotta bust a move
Like Stella got get our groove back,
Like aliens, we must attack

Have to take it slow this ain’t no amazing race you know
Fo Sho, Huff puff better blow the man down
Boots and feet pressed to the ground
This girl, she sure gets around, somebody said, “She’s new to this town”, but
The cure will soon be found, so dust your shoulders get off the ground

COVID19, YOUR ASS BOUT TO GO DOWN!
