Is God a man, is HE Black, White, or is HE Tan

Does HE have fingers and toes?

Does HE have an earring in HIS nose or ear lobes?

Does HE care about shoes and wears clothes?

Is HIS hair long or short; is HE a gamer or does HE prefer sports

Is HE a Blonde, Brunette, or a Redhead?

Is HE alive, or is HE dead

Does HE catch fish and bake bread

Is HE famous and have talks like T.E.D

Does HE sleep on a twin, full, or King size bed

Is HIS hair straight, curly, or does HE wear dreads instead

Is HE single or did HE wed, have we somehow been mislead

With what we’ve read, and what others have said

Like me have you ever wondered, ponder in your brain

Asking how does the sky create rain

And how the mind accepts shame

I know you’re thinking this is not my drive lane

Thoughts like this makes you insane

Then that means I’m not crazy, and questions are amazing

Which keeps my eyebrows a raising

What does God eat for breakfast, is HE selfish or selfless

Is HE here to help us, has HE ever left us

Alone, Is HE sober or is HE stoned, is HE like a cell phone that roams

Is HE a renter or does HE own, is HE a boy or full-grown

Is HE finding himself or is HE at home

Does HE pay with cash or get a payday loan

Does HE have a favorite color, what about sisters and/ or brothers?

Is HE Incognito, or has HE been discovered

Is HE a secret agent that WORKS undercover

Is HE a hater or a constant lover?

Is HE with us or above us?

Does HE struggle with trust or lust

Was HE too made from the dust

Though these questions made seem a bit much

This pretty much is the story of us

I beg you not to be stuck in a belief

Give your soul some relief, don’t preach

But reach for your dreams, things are not always what they seem

Let love flow downstream and hear what I mean

Please trust me when I say, God is near

Never far away, God is the giver of the day

Whatever you may believe, conceive or achieve

God is the life force that allows us to breathe

Growing Up

Well I must say that I am nervous as heck. I honestly did not think I would me but I am, but you know I just have to go for it.

I wanted to create this blog as an outlet for all the questions that have entered my mind over the years and still entering my mind. I hope you will enjoy these conversations, thoughts, answers and questions as much as I do.  

I wanted to ask did any body kinda  sorta grow up in the Church like I did? particularly the Holiness Pentecostal Church ? That experience for me personally has always bombarded me with tons of questions about God. The number one question I ask is " Is God a Man" 

I hope you can understand where I am coming from. First let me explain why I ask this question. 
Well one reason is that the Bible states that God is a spirit John 4:24. So if God is a spirit, does spirit have a sex,gender,and or title or is spirit neither male nor female. 

Is God perceived and portrayed as a man, because we live in a male driven society?
Is God in on the non-feminist movement? Is God a male chauvinist, and a womanizer?

Don't get me wrong I am not saying that all or any men are these titles, these are just questions and thoughts the pop up like umbrellas in my mind, and I don't believe that I am the only one, or am I?
